Fred & Friends Ice Screams ice cube tray is inspired by the famous impressionist painting by Edvard Munch, The Scream. Each ice cube is the classic rendering of the primal scream face. Extremely funny and also, obviously, functional. Made from dishwasher safe silicone in a wonderful and eye grabbing red color.

These ice cubes are a really cute idea. At first, my kids were curious as to why I bought the ice tray with the little skull-like faces in the spring, as opposed to Halloween. So, it gave me the perfect opportunity to introduce some of my favorite works of art to them. I told them the story behind Munch's "The Scream", and progressed to even showing them Van Goghs without yawns of boredom! I even caught my 10-yr-old coloring her own version of "Starry Night". So, I love these cubes. It was a great way to introduce art to my little ones and keep them interested for longer than 10-15 minutes.

Good quality and better (bigger) sized cubes than some of the other novelty trays on the market. I have not tried the trays for any sort of baking or for making colored frozen pops, does anyone know if the trays stain?

the best tray in the series
the tray is a normal shape and its easy to fit with other ice trays. The ice itself is easy to get out, and it's reasonably easy to fill. The best of these trays in the series.
