Having said that, this shot glass is definitely a novelty item and not something you would want to use while slamming back large amounts of alcohol.
The shot glass is made out of blown glass and is hollow on the bottom (which may be hard to see in the product shots). The skull kind of hang down inside and doesn't contact the sides of the glass except on the top. The glass itself is about half as thick as the walls of a standard shot glass, which means it won't survive much rough handling or any sort of drop (into a sink, onto the floor, etc.).
I knew what I was getting when I bought it, so I am not disappointed at all. If you are only going ot be doing one or two shots, or you just want a really awesome looking shot glass this could be for you. If you just wanna get drunk and party with your friends you will probably be better served by a sturdier and cheaper shot glass.
If you're a collector, get it to sit on the shelf. If you intend to drink from it, don't buy it.
I uploaded a photo of mine. I have two from the same company and they are different...they look the same except they are different heights.
I still like them. One star down for thin glass, one for lack of consistent manufacturing. Three solid stars for entertainment value.
Pros: Fun, interesting, insulated glass keeps liquids cool.
Cons: Can't feel the cold drink, glass feels too light creating a fear of breaking it.

Thank goodness I have nerdy friends who appreciate such things. The glasses haven't broken or fogged or any of the things I feared. And they do keep things hot or cold. Read morePublished 1 day ago by Mark Streetman

My friends envy me for having the coolest shot glass, and they kept asking me where did I buy it, and I told them look somewhere else, because I don't want them to have it.Published 3 days ago by Josh Taylor
The product was shattered when it arrived. I couldn't get a response and do not recommend this.Published 4 days ago by T. Raymondo
