I own both the frog and the dog models of this potholder. I use them both all the time and absolutely love them. Not only are they adorable and great conversation-starters, but they're useful too. I scored them 4 stars instead of 5 because, like other silicone potholders and pads, the heat bleeds through fairly quickly. Additionally, because of the eyes on the frog and the ears on the dog, they don't fit very well in shallow kitchen drawers and the eyes / ears tend to get caught. The two models do nest together, however.

I've had this for several months. It's definitely cute and works okay if you're only holding the hot pot/pan for a second or two. Any longer, though, and the heat comes right through to burn your fingertips. This is more a novelty item than a functional kitchen tool.

This is a great product. It is slightly more difficult to use if you have very small hands, but overall has been very effective.

This is a great item, more decorative than functional though, but I like it very much.

These Fred Hot Head pot holders work great and are lots of fun to use.

I bought this as a bath toy for a 1yr and 3yr-old. They love it, in or out of the bath. Nice that it's dishwasher safe.

Very cute potholder! I saw it first at a friend's house and used them. So comfortable. I gave a set to my son who likes to cook.

Do not get this product or anything similar to it! I burnt my wrists using a similar product. Get a REAL oven mitt that actually covers your wrists.
