Fred Ice Princess Star-Shaped Ice Cube Tray with Straws

These ice cubes are a hit with the 4 year old. We have filled them up with juice and made a nice treat and later used them in her drink (2 straws is very convenient. The silicone tray is a pretty color and very flexible - she can remove the ice herself.

There are a few downsides - I dislike that the ice is all the way at the bottom of the star. A few times we have had just enough ice over that it blocks the straw (easily fixed within minutes). Additionally, while the straw seems thick and durable, if you lose it - be warned - there is a bend in the straw so that it fits into plugs on each end, so you won't be able to easily replace it.

It is a bit pricey for what it actually is - but very fun.

I bought this ice tray for my 3 year old daughter who is really into princesses and fairies (all the girl stuff). She loves the star shaped ice and the magic wand/straw/ice cube. The ice tray is flexible, so it's easy to get the cubes out. Also, since the cubes aren't huge, they freeze fairly fast. The straws that come with are glittery and made well. Overall the product is really nice and well made.

I read all the reviews before purchasing and Yes!, some water does get around the straw part. The easy fix, is to use your finger's to take it off and it does easily!! Did not have a problem with this product...my 3yr old daughter loves it!! and the little star's are perfect size cubes for her to suck on. If you place the straws correctly inside, you should not have a problem with this product.

This ice cube tray was a hit with my 2 daughters, ages 5 & 8. It is durable, easy to clean, and appealing to the eye. The cubes come out very easy without cracking or breaking! My only dislike about this tray is because it is so flimsy, it needs to be filled either after being positioned in the freezer or you need a tray to transport it.
Tip: Remember that water expands as it freezes so leave a little bit of room if you want crisp shaped cubes!

I bought this for my daughter but thank goodness it came with two straws because even my son loves it! I haven't had any problems with water getting into the straw. I even got an extra set to save as gift for another little lucky girl in the near future. Makes meal time that much more fun!

How cute is this?! Although I certainly didn't "need" any more ice cube trays (especially one that makes 2 actual-size ice cubes and like 6 tiny ones), I could not resist buying this, and I love it! The straws have a slight slope to them so they're more centered in the ice star, and there are little knobs on either end of the tray that you fit into the straws so they don't fill with water (although one of mine did a little, but I didn't mind waiting a few minutes for the ice to melt). It's a little tricky to get the straws exactly in their places and to pop the ice out, but I'll get the hang of it. This product is definitely not meant to act as a standard ice cube tray, but it's a fun addition to my boring ice cubes and perfect for those blah days when I need a little something extra to spice up my drinks.

Got this for my daughter she likes it but wants to use it as a magic wand instead of straw... Very Messy. With the ice right at the tip of the straw her lips get cold.

This tray of ice cubes is so much fun! I use them all year round and the wand kids especially love.

I loved the idea for this, however the water gets inside the straw and freezes so the only way yo use the straw is to run water over it, which melts the star, making it nothing more than an ordinary straw. My daughter loves it anyway.
