i got these & thought they were cute, seemed big enough. i opened them to put in the salt & pepper & realized that despite the size on the outside the inside was way too small to fit more than a teaspoon of anything...if that much. & then there is the pin sized hole, yes one TINY hole, on the salt shaker....i could not get anything to come out. we did have fun playing with them but were not able to use them as anything but blocks.

These are neat, and everybody in my house enjoys their fun and playful look. However, out of the box, they're not very functional. The holes for the salt and pepper to come out are tiny. So I drilled some more holes, and that problem is pretty much solved. But there are other issues, like the small capacity and the cork plug at the bottom. The cork is pretty soft, and it broke in the first week as I was trying to open the bottom to add more salt. These have basically been reduced to being decorations in my kitchen.

I love salt & pepper shakers and these are my favorite. Everyone who sees them can't resist picking them up to play with them. They are amazed when they realize these cuties are salt and pepper shakers. Get them. They are so much fun!

These were a present to supplement a growing salt and pepper shaker collection, and are good for this purpose, but for anyone who wants these as everyday salt and pepper shakers, these are no good. If you were to use these as such, you'd need to drill a few more holes into the tops of the shakers, as there are simply not enough, and the few that are in the shakers are far too small.

I was so disappointed with this product! The holes on these salt and pepper shakers are way too small. After filling them, I absolutely could not get any salt or pepper to shake out. I kept them on top of my stove for awhile because they are super cute to look. Ultimately they just made me sad, and I got rid of them. If they made a version of this that actually functioned, I'd buy them.

I don't really use this item for it's intended purpose...more for decoration. The area that holds the salt and pepper is very tiny so I can't imagine them actually being of much use. I get compliments on them all the time!
