Great for slicing cake! Sharp enough, and through the action of the cake cutting, one automatically has an audience that see's the "blood" traces on the knife. The Addams family would have loved it.

Is a decent knife, don't expect to be slicing and dicing veggies. The blade is aveage so I just use it to cut cake or bring it out for shock value if I have guests coming over. Also the "blood splatters on the knife" are an off red color.

My girlfriend is very much into halloween and loves this gift. She stores it in the original box and it is her most prized kitchen accessory that is treated with great care. The knife seems to be of good quality. The tag is a nice addition to the set.
