5.0 out of 5 stars Freddy's Dead....or at least they though so...
Freddy will never die...but honestly, that's not what this reviews about. The soundtrack is well done by "Brian May"....being the HUGE QUEEN fan that I am, no people, this is not the "RED SPECIAL" guitarist of QUEEN. Doesn't matter though. I enjoy these soundtracks on long trips out of town and etc... This soundtrack is soooo very well done...especially while...

3.0 out of 5 stars Freddy's Dead: OST
Nice mix of tunes from the film. Some good electronics and strings used as well. I am sure many people (myself included) thought it was THE Brian May (of Queen fame), however it is not. This guy also did soundtracks to the 'Mad Max' films.
I didn't recognise every tune from the film in here. It contains 28 tracks but still seems a bit short and often repetitive, but...

I didn't recognise every tune from the film in here. It contains 28 tracks but still seems a bit short and often repetitive, but if you're a fan of the 'Nightmare' films, then you should be happy with this.

This soundtrack is soooo very well done...especially while watching the movie itself...but it gave me goosebumps just listening to it in my car. I'd recommend to any horror movie fan. Not to mention, any Nightmare on Elm Street fan!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Don't be fooled by the reviews of others.. this CD is great!, August 16, 2001
This review is from: Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991 Film) (Audio CD)
This CD has different songs for different genres. Plus it's good if you want to hear some of the earliest songs from the GooGoo Dolls. I also like the song Everything Remains The Same by Junk Monkeys which I can only find on this CD.

UHHHHHUH I thaught that the score was very good despite what that other person gave it. I liked it,but I like Wes Craven's New Nightmare the best of the scores.Anyway for die hard fans unless you want to.

1.0 out of 5 stars Warning, December 31, 2000

Although it is listed under Brian May, please note it's NOT the actual Brian May of Queen fame, but rather an Australian composer who died a few years ago.
