This book is a biography of one of the most influential economists of the 19th century. Frederic Bastiat's influences, thinking, ideas, and conclusions are well-expressed, as well as his connection to the political world of his day. It is quite interesting to connect the man with his famous and influential writings, such as "The Law" and "Economic Sophisms."
