5.0 out of 5 stars Works wonders on fine, frizzy hair!
This is a wonderful product for anyone who has fine to thick hair, which is unmanageable or bland when you let it air dry. I sprits Beach Waves on my dry, unruly hair in the morning, and it really creates the tousled and super wavy look. It is great for those mornings, when you don't want to style your hair. I just spray, scrunch, and pull my side bangs back into a bump...

1.0 out of 5 stars Smells nice, but did nothing to my hair
I don't like perfumey smells of most hair products but I thought this smelled nice. Too bad it didn't do anything for my hair, no curls at all. I've used Bumble and Bumble Surf spray and Cusco-Murphy Beach Hair and they're much more effective in making my naturally wavy hair curly (but unfortunately, they're more damaging too). I would not buy this again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works wonders on fine, frizzy hair!, January 15, 2010
This review is from: Frederic Fekkai Beach Waves 2009 5 fl oz (150 ml) (Misc.)
I just spray, scrunch, and pull my side bangs back into a bump and I'm ready to go. If you spray it on damp to wet hair, it really doesn't give the same curl/wave effect. I suggest only using it on dried hair.

This is the only product that I have tried, that actually creates textured curls and waves for my fine, frizzy hair. Be advised that it makes your hair have that feeling of "hair dried after a swim in the ocean", but it has never dried my hair out, taken my color out, or was unmanageable after washing and then styling with a blow-dryer or hot iron. It's a very natural look.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best of the many I've tried, September 1, 2009

This review is from: Frederic Fekkai Beach Waves 2009 5 fl oz (150 ml) (Misc.)
I have dozens of mostly full containers with this sort of spray-in product - collecting dust because they just didn't work for me. Beach Waves is the miracle I was looking for to revive my curls - which tend to flatten out when I sleep on them.
My curls get a real spring to them, and they are wavy rather than crunchy after I use this stuff. Other products left my hair feeling greasy or weighed-down.
I spray it on, flip my head over and scrunch my curls and I'm done. Sometimes I have to "shape" my bangs - and it helps to hold them twirled around a finger until the spray dries a bit. I liked this so much I switched to the Fekkia lucious curls shampoo and conditioner and I"m happy with them as well.

loved this product, used it the entire week i spent at the beach with the leave in conditioner. the salt water always makes my hair curl better and this just enhanced the perfectness of each and every curl

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!!!, May 16, 2011
This review is from: Frederic Fekkai Beach Waves 2009 5 fl oz (150 ml) (Misc.)
I have very fine straight hair and was skeptical this product would work for me... It turned out great!! I sprayed it on semi dry hair and scrunched it a bit as I was drying the rest of it. It actually gave me nice waves and didn't weigh it down or leave it greasy looking! Love it!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Great, December 10, 2010

This left my hair dry and stiff. The scent gets to be nauseating after several applications. I didn't get the so called waves in my that this product promises.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth $26., January 21, 2012

Did nothing for my hair, except make it feel & smell like I needed to shower again! Like I was rolling around in the sand! Very disappointing. Fekkai usually has great products, not this one though. Would not recommend.

1.0 out of 5 stars I think it was fake/made my scalp itch, July 26, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Frederic Fekkai Beach Waves 2009 5 fl oz (150 ml) (Misc.)
I have been using this product for several years (usually get at Nordstrom) but it is hard to find in the winter. I was happy when I found it here. But I noticed that it made my scalp itch. The product never did that before. The second I stopped using it..no more itch. I think it was fake.

1.0 out of 5 stars Where are the waves? or even the texture?, April 21, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Frederic Fekkai Beach Waves 2009 5 fl oz (150 ml) (Misc.)
My hair is sometimes a little wavy. If I use a styling product and scrunch as I dry it, my hair can definitely turn wavy. So, since my hair isn't very long, and it has the potential to wave without the wave spray, I figured this product would at least do a little bit. I've tried using with damp hair and with dry hair. It doesn't even feel like it changes the texture of my hair, let alone give me waves. The smell is good, but there is a fishy undertone to it, which is terrible. DEFINITELY not worth the 30 bucks it cost with shipping and handling.
