Today I had the honor of traveling to Louisville, Kentucky and viewing the Frederick Hart exhibit "Giving Form To Spirit" and all I can say is the late Mr. Hart was surely among the most profoundly talented sculptors to live in our times. For his work on the Vietnam Memorial, the National Cathedral, and for his careful crafting of scores of more intimate pieces, Hart touched the human soul even as he dazzled the human mind. After seeing more than a hundred of his works in person, I can tell you that the level of artistry present in the photographs inside The Complete Works does justice to Frederick Hart's physical sculptures. It is an impressive collection that pays homage to a great talent, and even at a steep seventy-dollars is absolutely worth adding to your home library.

One of the all time best, Fredrick Hart was a front-runner during his time on earth and this book proves that. When he was alive I don't believe anyone was better than he for creating art. His works speak for themselves. This man will forever hold a special place within me. The book measures 13.25x10 inches and has 327, glossy, color and black and white pages. This book is very elegantly produced, with high quality photographs.
