Editorial Reviews

Free Book Reviews is a blog that reviews indie books, interviews indie authors and generally talks about whatever amuses them in the literary world. If you are an author please feel free to submit your book for review and/or an author interview. If you are a reader feel free to check out any book listed on our blog. In any case please share this blog with as many people as you can! My name is Albert and my wife RJ Palmer is an indie author. In saying this I became sort of her publicist, marketing and champion. Through my trials of trying to find the perfect way to promote her book I discovered that many outlets were at best discouraging. So I thought maybe I can put together a blog, promote it, have the posts automatically appear on other sites, link in social networking and help all indie authors. This is where my journey has brought me so far and I expect more will be coming in the future. I do not charge for anything I do all I ask is that you promote this blog, follow me on twitter and facebook and promote each other. Even that is not a requirement.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great website and resource! June 5, 2011
The author of the blog is very supportive of indie authors and not only offers reviews but interviews as well. The reviews tend to be short but to the point, which I appreciate. It's more like talking to a friend about a book they have read than having someone try to analyze it for you and the interviews tend to not be the standard Q&A fare.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing reviewer! December 13, 2011
Let's face it the real point of kindles is to read free books. However, not every free book is worth it but Albert Robbins III changes all that. This father of six reviews many books for us and lays down what he thinks of them straightforwardly. He is not cruel with his opinion but his very honest. An amazing reviewer and one worth reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Safe & Sound May 13, 2013

This is a really good book. I liked it a lot. I am amazed this is the 1st book by Danielle Singleton. Ms. Singleton does a good job of making you feel like you are right there with each character. It is easy to picture what is happening. Her obvious knowledge of the onging drug war, kidnappings and murders in Mexico are key to the authenticity of the book. I did not see the see the ending coming. A real surprise.

World War z
I've read the book and its pretty intense, but written very much like a news piece. Its nothing like the movie, and really realistic. Overall, its a really good book about how people around the world react to crisis (both good and bad). I'd say go for it as long as you know she can distinguish... Read More
