I bought the silver one as a present for my brother and was very impressed when it arrived. The entire setup is warm and well-constructed.

The inner liner is reversible, fleece on one side (dark brown with thin orange piping) and a nice waterproof/water resistant side. Both sides have zippered pockets, which is quite useful-- you have inner and outer pockets however you wear the jacket.

I've seen some systems jackets that have a very thin outer layer, but this one is terrific. The outer layer can be worn alone, and it has a quilted lining so that it doesn't feel like you're wearing just a windbreaker. Also, they pay significant attention to detail. The hood (lined) is detachable, and there's a little flap to cover the snaps if you choose to leave the hood off. The inside pockets include an mp3 player pocket with a headphone strap.

Overall, this is an excellent quality jacket-- basically you get 2 that can be worn alone for most of the year, then combined when you need a very heavy-duty coat for the snow.

It's been a couple of months now since I got it. It looks pretty nice, but it "doesn't breath" at all so no matter what you wearing underneath it - you'll sweat. If I knew it before - I would never buy it.

This product delivers as promissed when it comes to the design and durability. However, it "doesn't breath" at all which in case of continuous activity makes you feel a lot like rice in a steamer.

If I could have tried this on before purchase, I NEVER would have bought it.

The jacket is made with some nice materials. The outter shell is water-proof but as other reviewers have stated, it does not breath well and can become too warm. The zippers are not sewn together well and are sometimes difficult to zip. They frequently bind with the fabric along the zipper. The velcro on the cuffs is also sewn on very poorly. It isn't straight and chaffes my wrists.

The removable inner jacket is made of very plush fleece and is comfortable and warm.

It was worth the clearance price but not the full price.

This coat is one of the best built and designed extreme weather coats I have found after weeks of both online & in store research. I bought my 1st one to try out, and I liked it so much I bought another one. One for dress, one for sport. This is the FIRST coat I have ever bought that I can say I am truly in LOVE with, and I've bought a TON of coats over the years. I am an avid saltwater fisherman on the Cape Cod Canal, where it gets downright brutal on early fall & winter mornings. High wind, rain, snow, sleet, severe cold (-20 below), you name it, and I stay warm & dry no matter what the weather is. This is one of the most incredible coats I have ever bought, and a STEAL at $59.99. I have spent $250+ each on extreme weather coats that are NO where near as good as this coat is, not even close. I never experienced the "sweating" as some previous users have stated. However if this coat is too warm for you, or makes you "sweat", then remove the inner liner (Duh!). Even the inner liner is a NICE reversible coat which can be worn alone, as one side is waterproof, and the other side a warm close knit fleece, with both sides having zipper pockets on both sides. You are actually getting 2 coats for the price of one. I NEVER had a problem with ANY of the (waterproof) zippers, on either coat, and they ALL functioned very smoothly. Being a 4-in-1 coat/parka, makes this coat TOTALLY versatile, you can immediately adapt it to any weather need you encounter, right on the spot. I cannot say enough about this coat. THANK YOU Free Country, this is one helluva coat! I LOVE it!

It is nice and warm, it is very versatile ~ there are so many different ways to wear it. Nice warm fleece inside. Looks sharpe! Great Gift!

This is a very versatile and durable coat. i like how the inside comes out if you dont need it and i keep thinking its going to be stained up cause of the light color but everything just wipes off of it..

This jacket is so heavy duty! I was shocked at the quality. Would definitely recommend it!

This coat has everything! Truly the nicest coat my husband has ever owned. He likes wearing the inside layer and sometimes I just "borrow" the outer layer. It's very warm and comfortable with tons of pockets. And you can't beat it for the price!

I got this jacket for my husband. It is very well made. It's warm, versatile and stylish. At $80 this jacket is a steal.
