Velvet Crush's BEST WORK, September 22, 2008

Im not a HUGE VC fan however I have nit picked through all Vc's releases at one time or the other. FREE EXPRESSION stands alone. This is an album of a working band. Unlike the freyed beach boys soaked go no where never pay off releases before/and after, FREE EXPRESSION sees the band firing on all 4's. A bit higher on the production than usual for these guys but with the songs being this tight it pays off and doesnt drift. My FAVE by this band!

If you like the powerpop (i.e. Beatlesque songs w/rockin' guitars), buy it, January 3, 2009
Great album...not as good as "Teenage Symphonies to God" but few records are...if you're a Matthew Sweet fan, def. check out VC
