The page length stated in the kindle store is misleading. Of the 5 minute read which is actually new, about a third was dialogue we've already read, a third action we've already experienced, and a third of actual insight from Four that made it all worth reading. However, the short story (more accurately a short chapter of a short story) is not worth the .99˘ Also, the addition of the first chapters of Divergent and Insurgent seem to be a ploy to beef up the "book" to make it worth its price. But honestly, who are these readers who haven't already read them? I could maybe see that some have not yet gotten to Insurgent, but Divergent's first chapters? Really?
I must qualify this by saying that I love, love, love the Divergent series, but this was bad marketing that toes the line of being deceitful.

l am ashamed of some of the reviews that I see here. The Free Four discription states that this is one chapter re-written from Four's point of view. Anyone who spent 99˘ believing that they were getting an entire Veronica Roth novel clearly didn't read the discription. Roth promised one insightful chapter and she delivered on her promise.
Four is a complicated guy. This pivotal chapter from his point of view reveals his motivations and fears. He knows that his actions are being watched and impact the safety of others...particularly, Tris. Thank you, Veronica, for this gift to your readers. I recommend that anyone who loves Divergent read this chapter...but don't expect an entire book.

It says the print length is 47 pages, the kindle length is like 16 tops. I didn't see the point of this very short, 5 min read. It didn't add anything to the story. Write a whole book about Four, that would be worth reading. Order the sample, you might get the whole book! I would not waste you money on this. It should have been free.
