This review is from: From Free Trade to Forced Trade : Canada in the Global Economy (Paperback)
It's a very readable analysis of where free trade comes from and what it is. The author explains why free trade is such a deal and why it probably will never work. He uses many examples familiar to Canadians. Just enough historical background for average reader and interesting case studies of how free trade is affecting third world countries. After reading this book, I feel that I am in much better position to decide where I stand when it comes to free trade and in some sense less afraid of it. |
