Although there may be questions in peoples mind about the knowledge of the minister Joel Osteen, he is a wonderful pastor sent from God above. He doesn't try to push religion on anyone and talks about things we can all relate to in a way you have to listen. His charm only adds to the beautiful self- esteem boosting sermons he gives. This cd is made of beautiful music from the chior at lakewood church and it is beautiful. My favorite is "well with my soul". The first time I heard that I cryed for 10 minutes.

Many people who watch Pastor Joel Osteen's sermons on television don't realize that each sermon at Lakewood Church is preceded by 50-55 minutes of praise and worship during which people can join with prayer partners for special prayer, Pastors Joel and Victoria bless the congregation, and the offering is taken. The bulk of the time is devoted to playing and singing praise and worship music, many of which has been co-written by either Israel Houghton (the two-time Grammy award winner) or Cindy Cruse Ratcliff. Typically the lyrics are based on Pastor Joel's sermons or the Gospel.

If you would like to experience a whole service as Pastor Joel intended you would, go to the Lakewood Church Web site and watch the live services on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. In between times, you'll find your heart uplifted if you listen to this wonderful CD.

The songs are sung by the current four worship leaders: Cindy Cruse Ratcliff, Israel Houghton, Da'dra Crawford Greathouse, and Steve Crawford. This is the first recording you can buy that has all four singers on it. In addition, Pastor Joel has a blessing for you on this CD. The performance was recorded live at Lakewood to create a bonus to go along with book sales of Pastor Joel's new book, Become a Better You, at Wal-Mart.

The title cut, Free to Worship, was written by Israel Houghton and Da'dra Crawford Greathouse. The rest of the songs are regular offerings at Lakewood: Everywhere That I Go, Still Standing, Always Welcome, It Is Well, At the Cross, Mighty to Save, We Have Overcome (not the Civil Rights song), Turn It Around, Love So Amazing, Your Love, Say So, and Favor. The CD notes have the lyrics for each song so you can sing along, as you would during a live service.

The music has a lot of energy behind it, based on the power of Lakewood's band, choir, background vocalists, and the thousands of worshipers singing God's praise.

I play this CD almost every day. As Pastor Joel says, "Begin your day with praise and worship." These songs will help you to do that.

This is an AWESOME CD! I love Joel Osteen and the entire Lakewood Family. Israel Houghton and Cindy Cruse-Ratcliff are the BEST psalmist. This music will encourage and uplift you. I highly recommend this CD and any other Lakewood CDs.

It is very inspirational. You can't go wrong with this album. I have this in my car and in my apartment. When I hit the road it is on.

I had bought this cd without even having heard the songs but, since I received it I haven't been able to stop listening to it :) This is such a wonderful cd, the songs are so uplifting and powerful. They always bring me joy and peace. The singers have beautiful voices and it's such a joy to listen to them.
I definitively recommend this cd. Joel's Osteen and its ministry rock as always. They are a blessing :)

This CD is fantastic! You will love it. You will want to crank up the sound in your car and sing as loud as you can along with the Worship team. If you want an uplifting CD this one is it. Get it you won't be disappointed!

I enjoy watching Joel Osteen on T. V. Love the music and worship time. I went on line to Amazon.com to see if
there were any music CD's that I could buy. There it was Free to Worship by Joel Osteen. I purchased the CD right
away and I am very happy with it. That is all I play on the way to work in the morning. The best way to start the
day praising the Lord.
