Not one of Marty's better efforts,

I think Marty Balin has one of the great rock 'n' roll voices, used on so many occasions to tremendous effect. But it depends on his having good quality material, and on this album the quality just is not there. Several listenings haven't revealed it. The production isn't bad, aside from the cheapo graphics, but I'll keep the disk only because I like having a complete collection of an artist's work. For those who like Marty Balin, the better bets are Better Generation, Bodacious D.F., and any of the first six Jefferson Airplane albums. Everything else I've heard is very hit-or-miss, and this one is one is definitely a miss.

I think this album is pretty good, its a little more commercial or pop but it does have good songs, favorite song is "Beautiful Girl" the song "Goddess" was remade for the Jefferson Starship cd "Windows of Heaven" its a short cd it runs about 38 minutes, but if you like Marty Balin's style of music you'll like this cd, buy it.
