Titus's book will help people to see. It's loaded with good ol' horse sense.
The carrier wave is a swashbuckle novel that is modulated with political & societal enlightment. It also contains biological info., technological info. and intelligent sarcasm.
I wouldn't skip chapts 4 & 5 (as the reader is permitted). They contain great ideas and grant the reader an important perspective.
Some of the aspects of our society and government are not good. Government wants to tax and control us more and more, in what is becoming a runaway process. It is growing bigger and becoming more wasteful & intrusive.
Instead of putting expiration dates on laws & taxes, 200 pages of new laws, ... are added daily to the Federal Register (page 46).
Evil Government or People may want to Control us. I.e. to Restrict, Coerce & Punish us if we do not (believe &) act as they wish. They often disguise their ploys as, 'Gifts of Freedom.'
In order to give us, "Freedom from Marijuana" our government: Strip searches teen-age girls, Looks into the rear ends of travelers, has created a black market in schools, has driven Cartel profits sky high while our debt is near 5 Trillion, denies suffering and sick people medication, caused some people to become alcoholics and has taken many, many cars & houses from hard-working, tax-paying citizens.
This book has urged me to think about many other things too: about racisism, crime & intelligence.
I found the anecdote on page 62, about the two friends and the homeless person, extremely delightful and apropos.
Titus has a plan on how we can Stop the Errosion of our Rights. In case you don't know, your 4th amendement right (to not be searched) is practically gone.
His plan is: Vote Libertarian! (It will at least force the other parties to look at some IMPORTANT issues.)
Perhaps one day, our government will shrink to just the right size and restore Freedom and the 'Lost Rights' to We the People. It may then use Persuation instead of Coercion. And we may avoid the 'Us vs. Them' Mentality and know Freedom and find Peace.
