Magic for the Adult,
By
This review is from: The Freedom of Innocence: A journey into the heart of All That Is (Hardcover)
Yes magic. SInce when are spiritual books actually fun? Well this one is! This book gave me the same feeling I had when I was a kid looking up at the stars saying 'I can do anything I put my mind to'. Well its like the stars are answering back in this book and what they are saying is 'We walk beside you'. That is magic. Any book who's teaching gives 'you back to you' is worth thumbing through. Any book who's teaching gives 'you back to you' AND encourages you to have fun with it, is a treasure you should give to your self! The Freedom of Innocence is such a treasure. Most of the modern world is too busy running a race to notice the magic in their Life. Slow down, grab this book, go somewhere quiet, and REMEMBER what it is all about.

I found this book to be a delightful read. I was immediately interested in Ananya's journey, and the humor expressed by the protagonist made me laugh aloud on several occasions! I was able to relate with Ananya, and through that, reflect on the message Ms. Shah was delivering throughout the adventure. This was a fun read that surprises you with the layers of wisdom that emerge with each passing page!

Most books on living life and/or its purpose are very boring. The author bring a very interesting way to take a trip through one's life opening and addressing a new facet, chapter by chapter.
The trip is personailzed by the author as she travels through on this journey and it reveals in a very interesting way what she is trying to impart to the reader. The gist of what the the book gives is better left to the author, but would like to say that it makes for a very nice reading on a plane or a short car or bus ride. Enjoy ! |
