"Let Freedom Ring" is one of my favorites of the Gaither Homecoming Series. A few of my favorites include: Ivan Parker singing "God Bless the USA"and"You'll Never Walk Alone" as sung by Armond Morales. Larnelle Harris and Sandi Patty received a standing ovation when they joined their voices in the song "More Than Wonderful."

Another special feature was the recitation of "The Survivor" featuring Mort Crim. I also seeing and hearing Terry Blackwood featured in "This Land is Your Land" and "A Few Good Men." He was also featured with David Phelps in "The Battle Hymn of Republic." Stirring. The Gaither Vocal Band" was featured in "I Pledge My Allegiance" and "Let Freedom Ring." Outstanding.

Comedy Acts included: "You Needed Me," a special song arranged for Lowry parodying his leaving the Gaither Vocal Band. Taylor Mason and Ken David added another light touch to the evening with their clowning.

A great evening of inspiration, patriotism, gospel music, and light hearted humor.
