5.0 out of 5 stars Kick ass band, February 4, 2005
I seen these guys live 5 years ago with the Kottonmouth Kings and they blew me away with their stage performance. I instantly bought their cd The New Testament and I was instantly a fan, this is basically a re-release of that cd with a few new songs but they are all catchy and they get their point across sometimes to hilarious results.

These are some really pissed off Native Americans! The anger in the songs is truly intense! My personal favorite "Christians Murdered Indians" has an incredible sound to it. It's hard to describe them in a general sense, but if I had to, I'd say they're a hardcore industrial metal group with Rage Against the Machine-esque lyrics. Excellent bassline in most songs as well. The songs never get old either! As a believer in the Christian faith, "Jesus Christ Homosexual" was almost offensive, but knowing they're getting a point across, I actually find it hilarious. "Voting doesn't Work" and "Taxes are Stealing" are pretty catchy songs as well if you don't like the government! Definately a must-buy if you enjoy hard, satirical music!

I think we're going to hear a LOT about this band in the near future. One thing that can be said about Corporate Avenger is that they don't hold back. On "Freedom Is A State Of Mind", they discuss and give their opinion (Oh and do they ever) on a wide variety of topics ranging from the government, our taxes (and where they're really going), religion, and even Christopher Columbus.

The album is full of deep, serious lyrics that are shouted over tightly-done industrial beats, heavy guitars, and ingenious sampling. One thing that seperates these guys from all of their tour mates is their ability to write songs that will actually make you think.

I don't know just how much radio play these guys will get but they have already found their underground audience and it's only a matter of time before they reach Manson status.

The album is immensely listenable without ever getting repetitive. Each song is either a history lesson, a strong political statement, or both. They are all very compelling, from the opening of "I don't fault the police" to the closing note of "Heaven's Joke", you will be entertained and possibly enlightened
