In this short yet powerful book, Mr. Connelly offers a much needed wake up call to all who value their freedom and the free enterprise system they enjoy in the United States. By combining the ideals of the founding fathers of our country with practical insights, the author makes a very compelling and sobering presentation of where we have been, where we are and where we are going as a nation. While showing that the foundational thought behind the ideals of the fathers of our nation were Christian throughout, Mr. Connelly brings a very non-religious view concerning our heritage and how it has been lost through the subtleties of liberalism and relativism of the last decades. To the author, what is most important is that we regain the initial ideals of free enterprise that shaped the destiny of our country and root out those forces that would seek to destroy the very fiber of what make America great. If you value your freedoms and understand the vital necessity of maintaining such freedoms you will want to read this book and pass it on to as many friends as possible. The author shows in a most compelling and concise way that the time is now for the Freedom Tide to roll across this great country and regain the ground that has been lost through the years. Now you can truly make a difference! This is a much needed contribution and one you will not want to miss.

Friend of mine handed me this book and I was floored at what I did not know. I short concise history of the principles this country was founded on.
Well written and very well documented.

While this book is definitely easy to read, It packs a real punch! This book should be required reading for anyone that steps into a voting booth. If this you were not allowed to step into a voting booth until you have read it, our country would be a very different country as of the result of what people could learn from this book!

Chad Connelly has distilled into 75 pages, a clear, concise, and powerful education on not only how the political system of country was founded and how it works, but more importantly he has shown every voting American how and why he or she must be involved in our governmental process!

This book, "Freedom Tide" should be a part of every history course in America! Chad Connelly has put the true history of how our country was founded back into print. It is apparent from the 60 references in the Bibliography, that the author has done his homework. This is not just a book that expresses the author's opinion, but rather it is a book that exposes the truth about what our founding fathers believed and the principles upon which our country was built with the blood, sweat, and tears. I believe so much in the message of this book that I am giving it to every history teacher that I personally know!

One would think that that was more than could be expected from a book of 75 pages, but Chad Connelly does not stop with just the history of how our country was founded, but he also details how our choices at the voting booth affects how our businesses function and how if we do not become responsible as individual Americans, how our business will ultimately be driven into non-existence if we do not elect leaders that truly understand what business is all about and how it works! Every person that is involved in a working career should read this book. It does not matter if that person is a laborer or president of the company. It affects every working person in America!

Chad Connelly's understanding of the reasons behind how and why our country was founded are phenomenal. For such a small book it packs a great understanding of our country and why we have the struggles we have today. It is a must read for anyone who loves our country and what she stands for.

This book will sweep America with the TRUTH. It is a short, simple read that makes you THINK about what our Founding Fathers REALLY meant! That's why Americans need to read it; people are talking too much and not READING and THINKING!! This is a must read for EVERY American because they will not teach this in schools. Mr. Connelly does a beautiful job backing up all of the facts with little read references. TWO BIG THUMBS UP!!!

This book tells many truths that have been left out of the mainstream in America. During the 40's, our courts turned and made bad decisions that we are living with today. Chad exposes these decisions and others regarding our founders beliefs and what we can do as responsible Americans to reclaim America for what God intended.

You won't find this in today's revised text books. You won't hear this in the news. You have to dig and know where to look because much of this information has been suppressed and revised. Please do yourself a favor and look up the references Chad points out and make sure for yourself. Do your own digging and don't take his word for it. Our founders didn't have type writers, cassette recorders or computers but they did write and wrote profusely. Read their accounts and their volumes and make up your own mind. Whenever reading history or a historical account, if it is not coming directly from the person of history, then use the reference and be responsible in your research. Chad has done this and he is to be commended for his throuogh and accurate discription of our American History!

A great book to give to someone to advance their thinking. The author explains the founding principles that made America Great. I would say it was written with the purpose to help people think. The analogy of the "sliding scale of absolutes" is brilliant. Most impressive is the detailed bibliography Connelly provides. What must be appreciated is the accurate portrayal of history that our education system no longer desires to teach. This message can only benefit those who read it. America needs to remember where she came from and the sacrifices paid to form this country and to sustain it. The truth is always one thing: The Truth! Whether seen, heard, or read. What is true, remains true...even when tainted, misinterpreted and diluted. A great read!

I also have know Chad Connelly since high school and college. Alot of the stuff he mentions in his book he gets paid to preach the same information on a speaking circuit that amyway provides. Although Amyway has now changed its name. Come to his hometown and find out all the people he scamed there.

His ideas, though thought provoking are hardly different then most other 'revolutionary' writers. You can chose for yourself if you agree with his views. But just thumbing through it you get a refreshing dose of self-absorbed, rightous frenzies, cash cow grinding Covey wanna be that it makes for a lovely read. I don't think I can explain it well enough. Buy this used if you can, it goes 'over the heads' of many readers. Reading books about how bad we have screwed up our country is always interesting, however finding this one gives you a good 'front and square' personality disorder. Mind that you don't lose your mind while reading his book. Remember, if his advice was really that good, he'd tell ya for free. ;)

I find it amazing that Chad Connelly, whom I have known since he was in high school would have the guts to write a book which screams about our "freedoms" being eroded when he belongs to every right wing group which seeks to limit our civil liberties and civil rights in the state of South Carolina.

Stay away from this drivel.
