Book Description

This is an extraordinary new and important work on the inner journey written by Christine Wushke, a woman whose life has seen a series of classical spiritual encounters and experiences. In these pages, she shares with us her amazing revelations, their intoxicating sweetness, and their life-giving fruit. But the book is more than just the fascinating story of Christine’s own spiritual growth, for it unfolds for the reader a renewed understanding of life in general, accompanied by practical exercises that anyone can use to begin to change their own inner landscape - and with it - their outer world. Using parables, stories, experiences, and insights from her meditations, she takes the reader on a double-decker journey: both hers and their own.

Editorial Reviews

Review

I m sent a lot of books to review, but I seldom read one in its entirety. Christine s book is an exception. I read it cover-to-cover because, rather than fishing in metaphysical waters, she speaks from experience. This book is alive and meaningful. Almost every sentence is a sutra, a pithy bit of wisdom. --Rick Archer, Buddha at the Gas Pump

Freedom Is Your Nature is a simple and profound explanation of the teachings of yoga and how we can apply them to our lives. Read this book slowly and take time to digest each concept because they are all highly concentrated gems of wisdom. --Desiree Rumbaugh, international yoga teacher

These days when yoga is on everyone's lips, an awakened yogini is still a rarity and Christine is certainly one of the rare ones. --Igor Kufayev, artist, yogi, and spiritual teacher

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful and Important Information November 30, 2013
Format:Paperback
The more I read, the more amazed and in awe I am. This book is powerful, but completely understandable and digestible. It's really, really important and I hope it gets TONS of interest...we need it "out here." Christine Wushke manages to convey a sort of 'user's manual' for how to spiritually awaken. The personal accounts, the exercises and the easy-reading style are just what we need to finally get free of the ego and moving into making inner peace a daily practice in our lives.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unmissable December 4, 2013
Format:Paperback
Disclaimer: Christine has been my teacher and coach for the past 1 1/2 yrs at the time of this review.

Christine has passed upon "Freedom is your nature" the same, rare gift that she has: her words are totally friendly and useful for beginners, yet the depth of her teachings satisfies any thirst. I found Christine after 15 years and in excess of 200 thousand miles traveling on the spiritual path, and found just two or three people able to transmit, explain and transform like she does. Her writing is among my top four spiritual books, the only ones I read more than once, and one of the very few that can still teach me a few, very valuable tricks.

5.0 out of 5 stars A true gift. January 7, 2014
Format:Paperback
I rarely find a book that brings me to a state of inner peace while I read it. This book does just that, and so tangibly. Every day that I read further into Freedom is Your Nature I feel my perception changing. Christine's skillful use of metaphore and imagery (especially in the beautiful angel anecdote) make matters of the spirit easily graspable by the intellect. This book is great for seasoned seekers as an eloquent and grounding reminder, and also for those just starting out on the spiritual path.

Christine, thank you for your clarity, wisdom and generosity. What a fabulous book!
