4.0 out of 5 stars Unconventional Coolness, June 10, 2000

This review is from: Freelance Bubblehead (Audio CD)
Let me start off by saying that this CD is good, yet bad. I mean this in the best way. Freelance Bubblehead is one of those CDs that I liked, but I knew the people that know a lot of stuff about music (i.e. People who get paid to do this) wouldn't like. It's kid stuff, but it is insanely fun. Most of it has the same beat being sung. The music varies a lot though. Upbeat songs like "I Love NY" keep your head boppin. Fresh love songs are in there too, such as "Rainy Days" and "(Not the) Greatest Rapper." There are songs that are upbeat but have somewhat sad lyrics("Kitty Kat Max"). Overall, Hip-hop fans will love it, but they won't admit it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Cd, June 11, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Freelance Bubblehead (Audio CD)
This album is full of imaginative, creative and original sounds. It's a unique blend of rap and pleasant melodies, and it's a refreshing change from the likes of ultra aggressive white rap groups such as limp bizkit, kid rock and Eminem. I highly reccomend this for any listener with a discerning ear for something new and fresh.
