This review is from: Freemasonry in Context: History, Ritual, Controversy (Hardcover)
This book is a collection of articles from the Freemasonic Magazine, Heredom, the magazine of the Scottish Rite (SJ) in the United States. All the articles take for granted some knowledge of Freemasonry and it is NOT what might be considered a "basic text". In particular I found the articles on Freemasonry in Germany during the Weimar Rep, and the questioning of many Masonic "myths" regarding membership to be very interesting.
