5.0 out of 5 stars A Concise Uncovering of Evil
"Freemasonry: Mankind's Hidden Enemy" by Bro. Charles Madden, OFM Conv. is the best small book on the topic I've read.

The author is a humble Franciscan friar who simply tells it like it is when it comes to exposing the anti-Christian religion of Freemasonry and its principal goal of trying to destroy the Catholic Church.

1.0 out of 5 stars The book is interesting, but on an entertainment level.
There are things you can believe and cannot believe. I thought this book would tell me more about the masons. I got interested in reading about them after finding out my grandfather was a mason. Unfortunately this book is not the best source for that information. There are to many far fetched accusations that do not add up, and worst of all, are not backed up. If you...

5.0 out of 5 stars A Concise Uncovering of Evil, September 15, 2004
This review is from: Freemasonry - Mankind's Hidden Enemy: With Current Official Catholic Statements (Paperback)

In this book I learned about the official (and still current) Catholic stance against the religion of Freemasonry. Madden cites official references to show how one cannot be a Catholic and a Mason as they are two different religions with irreconcilable differences.

In this book I also learned about Saint Maximilian Kolbe who founded the Militia Immaculata to prayerfully convert souls, especially Freemasons (see www.consecration.com).

After reading Madden's book I now see clearly why my late grandfather, a Baptist minister, renounced his Masonic membership due to his Christian beliefs and convictions.

I would highly recommend this book to any Christian who is interested in learning about Freemasonry, especially Catholic Christians. I'd also recommend a more detailed book as a good follow up by the title "Christianity and American Freemasonry" by William Whalen (Ignatius Press).

God bless Brother Charles Madden for having the courage to write this little book to remind all Christians that Freemasonry is still "Mankind's Hidden Enemy"!

There are things you can believe and cannot believe. I thought this book would tell me more about the masons. I got interested in reading about them after finding out my grandfather was a mason. Unfortunately this book is not the best source for that information. There are to many far fetched accusations that do not add up, and worst of all, are not backed up. If you are to make such claims you have to reference where this is coming from. Could have been better but I suppose they wanted more of an edgy cloak -N- dagger feel to it.

Eric Borgmans review is ranked right up there with the book in terms of researched knowledge. I dont think its necessary to say those kind of things, and I would not be surprised if his review is removed, because it is way outside of the Am. Guidelines!!

5.0 out of 5 stars What people do not like to say (in public) about Masonry..., May 10, 2006
This review is from: Freemasonry - Mankind's Hidden Enemy: With Current Official Catholic Statements (Paperback)
...this author describes what they are really about and why they are excommunicated by the Catholic Church; hence, why you cannot be both masonic and catholic or even christian.

Explains why they are not the people they seem to be, even with all the "charity" work they do.

This review is from: Freemasonry - Mankind's Hidden Enemy: With Current Official Catholic Statements (Paperback)
Spreading ignornace and hate for a PROFIT (selling this book) is the Yin and the Yang of evil. Why target an organization that you know wont fight back! Who's belief is Brotherly love, Relief (Charity) and Truth! (Its like a bully picking on a kid that he knows wont fight back for cash). I boo this book!

1.0 out of 5 stars "Ignorance Breeds Prejudice" --GDL, January 14, 2001
This review is from: Freemasonry - Mankind's Hidden Enemy: With Current Official Catholic Statements (Paperback)
I have spent ten years researching Freemasonry. My library is packed with Masonic and Anti-Masonic books. The most Succinct review of this book, in my opinion, is this: "Dogmatic Drivel."

If Ignorance is Bliss, this book is Utopia.... However, it IS a great book for understanding Anti-Masonry and the perpetuation of Ignorance--esp., because of religious Prejudice and Silliness.

All of my research has led me to one conclusion about Freemasonry: I want to Join the Honorable Order...(and I will soon become a Mason, officially).

Many Blessings Upon The Lodges of The World. -- GDL

5.0 out of 5 stars a short version of the simple truth, October 26, 2001
This review is from: Freemasonry - Mankind's Hidden Enemy: With Current Official Catholic Statements (Paperback)
being someone who is interested in finding out about the masons and what they are about i found this book to be understandable, brief, and well researched. i believe what is said in this book based upon the citations that it has. this book quotes a masonic text that is held as secret and reserved for masons of 32 degree of highter. it explains how the author came about getting a hold of this secret masonic text and it precicely expalins to the reader the TRUTH about the evil motives that are promulgated by the masons. in conclusion this text shares with the reader the danger and errors of the 'masonic religion' and it also is a good resource for the statements of the Catholic Church on the masons. personally i find this book to be unbaysed and not in any way seeking to defame or harbor ill will towards the masons- all it does is planly share the truth.

A MUST READ FOR ALL CHRISTIANS AND ESPECIALLY CATHOLICS

5.0 out of 5 stars WAKE UP AMERICA - IT MAY BE TOO LATE ALREADY!, March 2, 2005
By
This review is from: Freemasonry - Mankind's Hidden Enemy: With Current Official Catholic Statements (Paperback)
This book tells it like it is and points to the real demons who are destroying our country and the world. One needs to look no further than the White House where we currently have a Skull and Bones member, a branch of freemasonry, running or should I say ruining our country today. They have a plan for a new world order and they have been working at it for quite some time. Read Revelations in the Bible - its all there. The devil is alive and well and winning the battle today.
