I bought this watch as I wanted to have a digital watch with backlight, a timer, a secondary time and an alarm. I was also looking for something that had minimum complexity. This watch has it all! The touch screen is awesome, works great and keeps the watch better for water resistance since there are no pesky buttons to select the functions. Keeps the look nice and clean as well. All of the features work great and I only spent about 5 minutes with the instructions before I had everything down.

The compass is ok - I had to calibrate it a couple of times to get it working, but has worked well since then. That said, I would not use the compass mode on this watch as my primary source of direction on any camping trip!

The bracelet on the watch is sturdy, but flexible and cleans up easily in water. This is a bigger watch, so if you're looking for a compact, little watch, you need to move on to the next one. But if you want a large, but not too large watch that is pretty light, this is an excellent choice for the price. I've worn this watch causally and with a business casual look, but you will probably also want to have a dressier watch to wear with a suit....

If you're looking for a stylish, large and easy to read digital watch.. this one will no doubt fill the bill. One thing to keep in mind is that this watch is a "touch-screen" watch and it will take a few times to get the pattern down as to how to un-lock the clock to set the features. Plus, when I received my watch.. I did not get any instructions as to how to set the time, date..ect. Thank goodness Freestyle's website did have a great download section of the instructions for this watch. Trust me.. you will need the instructions in order to get this watch set up. However, with instructions in hand, the set up was easy and fast. No problems.

All in all, happy with the purchase.

Unfortunately, I didn't purchase this watch from Amazon.com - I bought it from a shop as it was going out of business. But I'm still going to try to return it if at all possible. I bought this watch a couple months ago and it seemed to work fine. The first problem I had was that the alarm didn't work. Luckily, I had a backup alarm, so I kept using the watch for other things. But honestly, I was already finding the touchscreen to be a little annoying. One of the main reasons I bought this watch, though, was because it looked like it would stay on when I go surfing. I've had other watches that have come off, even when I was just bodysurfing. So I went surfing today, and sure enough, the watch stayed on with no problems, but the touchscreen went completely haywire! Every time I took a stroke through the water, the watch would beep and something would get changed or the touchscreen would get reactivated and then more stuff would get changed. After about 30 min. of paddling I had no idea what time it was, and the day, date, time zone, and practically everything else had been changed - just by paddling through the water. Can't use a Freestyle watch for water sports? Freestyle is one of the main water sports watch makers. Huge disappointment.

I bought this watch and once I set it up it really did what the description said it would do. GREAT FOR ANYTHING FROM CAMPING TO KEEPING TIME IN ALL THE TIME ZONES YOU WOULD EVER NEED.

Functionality of the watch is fine. Everything works the way it should.
However, housing of the watch looks and feels very cheap. All plastic.
Hugh compass dial makes it look even cheaper.

Not recommended unless you really wanted compass watch.

Touch sense feature is cool, but traditional button type is better in practice. Cannot use with gloves on. Also, touch would not work properly when watch is under water or wet.

Glass is slightly higher than bezel. There is greater chance of damaging glass than recessed models.

Watch comes in plastic water proof case. Completely sealed with gasket. Looks like 1/3 of watch price goes toward case.
Case looks very good, but I wish they put money toward watch. Not toward case.
