I bought this with the intention of using it while doing laps in the pool. This is a big disappointment. It had sporadic operation after one use in the pool and quit working alltogether after the second use. The unit would not turn off and the battery would die down when not used. It seems it's not waterproof after all. Basically I had to throw it away since the warranty is gone. For something they claim is shockproof and durable, how come there is only a 90 day warranty? Even if it did work the operation is very confusing and difficult to use. You can barely read the rubber buttons and they don't always respond unless pressed hard. When I first bought it and plugged it in the computer to load music, the computer would not recognize the USB unless I inserted it a couple of times. Upon researching this on the net I found out other sites had the same reviews as mine. This needs to be pulled from the market! Don't buy!

Buyer Beware -- NOT a Good buy,

Received this as a Christmas present in '09 to use while swimming laps (2-3x a week). VERY confusing to use, manual not a real help. Works sporadically similar to problems other reviews indicate. VERY disappointed in this product. Issues loading music, issues with battery life after charging as directed, issues with NOT being waterproof as promised, as it finally just quit on me this week, and there is evidence of water inside the screen. Unit has been taken care of and used properly, not subjected to extreme heat or cold, or dropped, etc. Basically in the same boat as another reviewer, it's beyond it's too-brief warranty, so I have no other option than to trash it. So that's what it is: TRASH.
