This review is from: Freestyle: The New Architecture and Interior Design from Los Angeles (Paperback)
This book looks as if it dropped out of the post modern '80s, but it is full of great photos and insights to the mid careers of several of America's most prominent designers {who, it turns out, just happen to live and practice in the L.A. area!) A few of the Designers included are Frank Gehry, Thom Mayne/ Morphosis, and Eric Moss before he realized that he had a middle name. Also included is a followup essay by Paul GoldbergerFreestyle: The New Architecture and Interior Design from Los Angeles
If you are enthusiastic about late 20th/ early 21st century architecture and design grab this. it is a serious bargain! |
