Excellent Wach!,

Great watch! My last Freestyle watch lasted a little over ten years including summers life guarding and teaching swimming lessons at the local pool. I replaced it recently with Lopex World Class and so far it's great and I'm always receiving compliments on the timepiece. It has timer which I use for my laps and unlike other reviewers who mention having a problem with the DST button, I have yet to experience any, and if I do, just looking right above the time it tells you clearly whether you are on DST time or regular, no biggie. Watch looks great and looks tough, just what I need for my summer job and daily regular use. Here's hoping I get another ten years. Like it so much, I'm thinking of also getting the white version.

This watch is horrid, as another reviewer mentioned he started having problems with the light. As did I. After a few months of usage the watch light would cause the entire watch face to go blank. It did this for about 6 weeks then it just died.. entirely. I took it to a watch maker and he told me there was nothing to be done.

Had this watch since late 2007. I'll echo the other reviews. Overall I love the watch and have been very satisfied with it. I wear it 24/7 in all kinds of conditions: shower, sports, swimming, surf, you name it. It has held up well. I still recieve compliments to this day on the styling of the watch which is a huge plus. Also the Daylight savings button is very easy to accidentally hit and freaks you out when you think you're an hour off. Still - minor. It is however no longer waterproof since it just had the battery changed for the third time of its life.
Its a huge watch face with a big digital display so it draws alot from the battery when the light is used. The other reviewer should have realized that when the battery is on its last leg, the entire face blanks out when the light is pressed. Each time this "blanking" out happens, it needs a new battery - easy fix. I had to change the battery ever year and a half or so so keep that in mind - more than any other watch I've ever owned. This last battery change this last week resulted in the watch totally leaking and water now gets inside from simple shower. Its nothing I've never done before while wearing the watch. I took it back to the place that changed it and the lady pulls out the little "we aren't responsible for watches leaking after a battery change" sign. Great! I knew it was totally her fault since she replaced a screw and that very screw was the area the water got in. It wasn't worth it to argue with her since when they change the battery, they have to mess with the factory seal anyway. I'm gonna miss this watch dearly! It still works but is no longer water resistant/proof, nothing. It leaks and thats it so its of little use to me now. I love it an totally recommend otherwise, but keep all these things in mind.....

A few months after purchasing this watch I had to change the battery. No real biggie, figured it was sitting for a while before I bought it. Well this past weekend I finally decide to wear it in the pool. This waterproof watch does not handle water. We are talking just going underwater. It is kaput. No function at all now. Says right on the face that it is good to 100m. I was standing in the pool with my hands underwater. Very disappointed.

One lap in the pool = dead,

Aside from having that super annoying and unnecessary accidental button that changes the time by one hour, I went for a swim with it on, excited to have a water resistant watch to check lap times with. The instructions specify to not press buttons while under water so I started the lap timer while still dry and dove in. ONE LAP LATER, this piece of sh** was dead and filled with water. It is getting sent back immediately.
