Good Watch With One Major Flaw, August 22, 2010
This review is from: Freestyle Men's FS84840 Shark Thresher Digital Black and Silver Polyurethane Watch (Watch)
I have owned this watch for just over a week. My initial impressions were quite positive even if it seems a tad overpriced for the feature set. Then I took it with me for an evening run. It is obvious that the folks who designed this watch did not really consider those of us who run when it is dark out. I have owned more sports watches than I can count and I have never owned one with the flaw that this one has. The issue? The illuminate button is the same button that stops the chronograph (stopwatch). So, when I am out running and I want to use the light feature to check my time, it always stops the chronograph. In order to resume, I have to hit the start button. So, what on every other watch w/ a chronograph I have ever owned is a simple process of pressing one button to view the stopwatch time in low light becomes a two step process. First, I have to hit the illuminate button, which also stops the chronograph. Then, I have to hit the start button to resume the chronograph. This is a major design flaw that makes this watch hugely inconvenient as a sports watch. This is especially frustrating given the relatively high price. If you are looking for a good sports watch, spend your money on a Timex Ironman or Casio G-Shock. On those, you can easily check your time without stopping the chrono. Plus, for this price, you can get a much nicer watch with higher level features.

First impression, February 13, 2010
I got this watch less then 24 hour ago, this is my first impression. It is a good looking watch, incorporating classic 80's digital watch with modern features like, dual time, count down, back light, stop watch. It is water proof too 100 meter (300 feet). The strap is a nicely designed piece, comfortable even when a little tight, textured on both sides, stainless steel buckle and a semi fixed position for the thing/loop that controls the end of the strap. The display is protected by the blue rim, it is designed as a guard rail, protruding maybe an 1/8 of an inch
I really like how user friendly it is, buttons are easy to push, and it tells you in plain English what you are about to do, I set my dual time, with out using the instruction, in a few minutes.
Besides it looks and features I like how it arrived set to west coast time, it is less then 10 sec of from standard time.
I will post another review at a later time, let's see if holds up to my life style.

good deal, November 7, 2011
This review is from: Freestyle Men's FS84840 Shark Thresher Digital Black and Silver Polyurethane Watch (Watch)
I've had this watch for about 2 weeks and have been impressed with it so far. It is really comfortable and seems to handle water exposure and a beating pretty well so far. It was a great price and shipped for free. For the money you will have a hard time finding a better deal than this.
