Umm. Get the other 9 volumes and thats it...,

Being a huge fan of freestyle ever since i was 3 years old (yes seriously) i ve been listening to alot of it, and even though im a teenager right now and this music was before my time, and i was a toddler, i still know enough about it after listening to the classics. First off, this CD does not have the freestyle sound thats found in the other 9 CD's and while yes, i do understand that around 92 was when freestyle was changing and the old kind 'died', but this new sound is not what freestyle is all about. The first 3 tracks do nothing to me. After that i wanted to break out my volume 1 and listen to it again. Now thats a volume i will never get tired of...but this was just...wrong. This final volume should have been a release of classics that were not in the other 9 voumes....Heres what should have been: 01 stevie b - stop the love

A Freestyle Collection Must-Have,
By Jeff Fillion (Jeff@Fillion.com) (Lansing, Michigan, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Freestyle Greatest Beats 10 (Audio CD)
This disc is the last of a 10-disc series that is the definitive collection of Freestyle music. The series features a variety of songs from the most popular artists of the genre, including many hard-to-find classics. All discs include comprehensive liner notes charting the history of Freestyle music (except Volumes 8 through 10, which were later added to the series). A must-have collection for anyone interested in dance music from the mid-1980s through the early 1990s.Disc Ten Highlights: Volumes 1 through 7 were, for the most part, chronological in the listing of songs. Volume 10 offers a variety of hits from Freestyle's newest generation of artists (with a couple classics for good measure). This CD is highlighted by the inclusion of Cynthia's "How I Love Him" and George Lamond's "It's Always You." This volume also contains new classics by Planet Soul, Jocelyn Enriquez, Lisette Melendez, Collage, Rochelle, and more.

It would have been better with the freestyle version of Time Passes By.
