I purchased this to take on vacation, figuring that if anything happened to it, the cost wasn't a huge loss. It worked great!!! Went snorkeling/swimming and wore it through the entire vacation (including a little rain), with no problems. The buckle helps ensure it won't fall off (as opposed to other types of wristband closures), and it held up great through use in the water, including a day at a water park. Well worth it.

My 9 yr old daughter was afraid she wouldn't be able to read the differently-shaped face on this watch, but she decided to give it a try anyway because she liked the look of the watch itself. Once she had it on her wrist, she was completely happy with it and has had no trouble reading it. It's well-made and we're hoping it will last for a long, long time (if she doesn't lose it first!).
