I can't believe no one has written a review of this yet, even though they are one of the most under-appreciated bands of all time. Of their two albums, this is my favorite and it oozes talent like I have seldom heard before...from any genre. EVERY single song is a winner and they're all unique. I have thousands of CD's/LP's in my collection (mostly punk & metal) and this is on my top 10 list-even though its a mixture of blues/rock/etc. It took a few listens for me to really get into it, since it's quite different from what I am used to. But the more I listen to it, the more I absolutely love it. I think part of their problem was that they were hard to pigeonhole and people weren't sure where they fit in.

In any case, it's difficult to dislike something like this that is executed with such obvious passion. This entire effort is catchy, melodic, sometimes melancholic, sometimes mellow, but always powerful and well-written. The vocals are absolutely awesome and are a perfect fit-sweet one moment & nice and gravely the next. If you want to put something on "repeat" for several hours, while you and that special someone spend an afternoon or evening in bed, this is an excellent choice!

BUY THIS CD AND IT WILL BECOME ONE OF YOUR FAVORITES, TOO! YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!
