After consuming myself with the Bay Area's, LA's, and Minnesota's finest hip-hop, I went out on a limb and hooked myself up the Tree-City Legends and eventually Qwel.

Qwellie raps like no other specimen I've ever encountered. He can rhyme more syllables than Big Daddy Kane could ever hope to and his flow makes Aesop Rock wish he could rap that fast without over-dubs.

Qwel's first three or four albums were better than this, but that says a lot because I liked them so much. Peep "Harvest" first and start from there.

I picked up this release after listening to Qwel's "If it ain't been in the pawn shop, then it can't play the blues." If you liked that Cd you will without a doubt like this one, and should not pass up the chance to listen to it. Smooth and Creative tracks by Meaty Oger from start to finish, with Qwel going the extra mile on the lyrics.
