Fler is getting progressively better, and in his latest cd he hits virtually everything perfectly. Berlin, Deutscha Bad Boy, Pass Auf, Mein Jahr and many others are outstanding.
Fler doesn't sound like Eminem vocally, but there are definitely several ways in which they are similar such as style, variation of background music, and having short "skits" mixed in or at the start of songs. It doesn't matter whether you understand German or not for this to be enjoyable, the music is simply that good. And unlike a lot of rappers, because he doesn't use the same beats/instruments over and over-it doesn't really get old.
If you like artists like Fler, I would recommend checking out Sido and Diam's. Can't wait till he comes out with more stuff!!
