I purchased this Bible in French for its addition of the Apocryphal books, those 7 books of the Old Testament which the Catholic Church considers to be inspired but which most Protestant communions do not hold to be inspired and hence do not include in their Bibles.This Bible had these seven books as they are normally presented.

My niece wanted a bible in her native language. After reading reviews on many bibles, I selected this one. I was apprehensive about the small size, but my niece has no trouble reading it.
