No dishwasher!,

Not dishwasher safe as advertised. Even without using the heat setting these cups flaked, discolored and became brittle immediately. And our hot water heater is set low! Cups and bowls were/are fine.
Overpriced for what you get vs. durability.

Robot Cups,
This review is from: French Bull 6-Ounce Melamine Juice, Robot Kids, Set of 4 (Kitchen)
We purchased the plates and cups for our son and didn't use them for a while (he was a baby). Well now that we've started using them, we wash them in the dishwasher (they say they are dishwasher safe) and put them on the top rack. They've started chipping. I would not recommend these, if you want to buy melamine plates just get the $2 target ones, no point overspending on these just to have them ruined by the dishwasher that company (falsely) claims is safe for the plates/cups.I called french bull, they said the warranty was up (duh its been a year since we bought them even though we've only USED them a few months). The lady who answered was combative, clearly wanted to argue. Said she'd NEVER heard of them chipping (um, read the reviews on amazon, I'm not the only one). I just don't think they should (falsly) be advertising these as dishwasher safe when they are not, in fact, dishwasher safe. I would not spend $30 on 4 robot plates or cups (or anything from french bull for that matter) again. Its too bad, these ARE cute plates but when it really comes down to it they are melamine and not even worth $2 especially considering even after just a few months of use they are chipped all over the place.

I just threw away the 2nd cup because it chipped. As for the first chipped tumbler that I threw away, I thought my son nibbled on it because it was still fairly new. Turned out it was the first wash in the dishwasher upper rack. I bought this cup set because they're super cute and my kid loves robots but also because they're the smallest melamine juice cups I could find AND dishwasher safe. Now the two cups left, they're not broken or chipped but the prints faded and they don't look all that good anymore although we haven't used them all that much. If it wasn't stated as dishwasher safe, I'd not consider getting them at all. Not recommended unless you're willing to hand wash. One star just because they're pretty to look at when they're new.

Although a little pricey, these are really cute, well-made cups that seem to be holding up well even with being run through the dishwasher. And they are a perfect size for a 3 yr. old.

These cups are very cute, colorful, sturdy melamine. They are quite small so ideal for younger kids. Not so easy to tip which is a plus.

No dishwasher problems,

Unlike another reviewer, we have not had any issue with these cups in the dishwasher. Ours always go on the top rack, but haven't had any trouble. Love how cute they are and they do not break when dropped from "kid height" onto my tile floor.
