To understand the quality of the Valbreso cheese here are the ingredients and nutritional value for Valbreso vs. a very popular cheese sold in huge amount in US, the popular Mozzarella cheese by a famous brand like Precious low-fat cheese.

Valbreso Ingredients: Pasteurized sheep's milk, salt, cheese, cultures, enzymes, calcium chloride

Precious brand Mozzarella low fat not regular which obviously would have more fat ingredients: Whey, Milk, Canola Oil, Milk Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Concentrate, Contains Less than 2% of Sodium Phosphate, Skim Milk, Sodium Citrate, Salt, Calcium Phosphate, Lactic Acid, Milkfat, Sodium Alginate, Sorbic Acid as a preservative, Annatto (Color), Cheese Culture, Apocarotenal (Color), Enzymes.

Valbreso vs Mozzarella
Serving size 28 gr vs 30
Calories 80 vs 90
Fat calories 60 vs 50
Total fat 6gr/9% vs 6
Saturated fat 4.5gr/23% vs 4.0
Cholesterol 20mg/7% vs 30
Sodium 270mg/11% vs 130
Protein 4gr vs 5

Just reading the ingredients proves that Valbreso is just sheep milk not chemically fed cow milk with GMO feed without any additives. Mozzarella ingredients are very hard to find, not even available at Precious Internet site. I wonder if it has anything to do with their chemicals in their cheese. An absolute joke if you have any respect for your health.

No cows here, no GMO here, this is France and this is cheese from sheep, the only food that I consume raw, delicious, delicious, delicious... Feta just like any other white table cheese produced in EU is different than Valbreso and all others. Feta is the white cheese made in Greece with sheep milk. Valbreso is made in France, tastes different and it is a different product, not as salty as Feta.

This is the best Feta cheese I think I've ever eaten...I tried it at a friend/chef's home and was completely in love with the flavor & texture. A bit spendy when you consider the high shipping costs but I bought 2 cans to make it worthwhile...I even use some of the brine in my cooking for added salt and that "zip" that is sometimes missing!

I reviewed this product in regards to delivery and packaging but we just tasted it tonight at dinner. It is fabulous! A smooth yet tangy cheese. Perfect with a glass of wine and some figs or in pasta with pesto. Unbelievably good and I will be ordering it again! Yum!

French Feta is hands down the very best Feta cheese available anywhere. No Contest. Smooth taste, solid consistency, subtle flavor, there is none better. (And for those other reviewers who insist Feta is trademarked by Greece, this has been overruled in European courts - like swiss, cheddar, etc.)

This is the BEST Feta I have ever eaten, in fact I can't stop eating it! It's just the right amount of salty, creamy and tangy. Love, LOVE, LOVE it!

I do not consider myself a cheese connoisseur at all, but this cheese certainly ranks up there as one of my favorite. It comes packed well and in brine water which a lot of the fetas in the stores don't. Very rich and creamy with the perfect amount of saltiness. Buying any other feta in most stores would be a waste of money.
