4.0 out of 5 stars Quick Review of French Grammar

3.0 out of 5 stars Even as we speak
This is written for adults and set out in a way so the reader can find quick and accurate answer to her questions. It's a smooth synthesis of French vocabulary and grammar; nothing inspired or creative. The book is organized just the way you would expect and is comfortable to use.

4.0 out of 5 stars Quick Review of French Grammar, April 24, 2008
"Barron's French Grammar" is a good, quick review of French grammar, but it's not for beginners. Beginners would probably not find this book very helpful because the explanations are to brief. For example, the book only devotes one page to the subjunctive, which is useless. The subjunctive is too complicated to be explained in only one page. But this book is a good, quick reference for those who need it. For a more detailed explanation of French grammar, I recommend Side-By-Side French and English Grammar.

4.0 out of 5 stars Barron's French Grammar, September 8, 2009
A Kid's Review
If you are looking to learn the technical aspect of French, then this book is for you. I bought the Italian version and I have a better understanding of sentence structure after reading through it.
