This miel del lavande from Les Ruchers du Mont-Ventoux is so wonderfully delicious. It comes to you in its natural form, cold extracted from the hive. It is creamy and light in color. The lavender notes are as elegant as the presentation. As a customer remarked - it's easy to sit and have spoonfuls at a time. Yes, it really is that good! It is spreadable like jam and tastes great atop toast and other items. 500 grams / 17.6oz (The one pictured at left in the photograph, the smaller jar is available in a separate listing). **NOTE: This listing is for one jar of honey, 500grams/17.6 oz.

This is the best honey I have ever tasted. I have been tempted to eat it by the spoonful. I have been making myself breakfast in the morning, with yogurt, fresh raspberries and a teaspoonful of this honey on top of it all will literally make me swoon! On some toast in the morning, a good baguette with a little unsweetened butter and it has the same effect!
It is hands down, the best!

I purchased this lavender honey from Splendid Palate within the Amazon.com marketplace and have nothing but good things to say. It is just like the honey I tasted in Provence, France while on vacation. The price seemed high at first, but after speaking with a lady from Splendid Palate I came to realize the costs involved. Those wonderful French bee keepers (and bees) work hard to make this golden treasure! It is creamy and sweet - a perfect sweetner for my morning cup of tea.
