5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, extremely musical, May 14, 2001

This review is from: French Masterpieces Saxophone Quartet (Audio CD)
The quartet is proabably the best in the world (at leat from the quartets that I have heard). They sound as if there is one person playing a gigantic saxophone that covers all of the registers. Flowing melodic lines are blended together without seams from one horn to the next. They're sound is extremely light and they work together as if they were one mind. These men are true musicians.
