I am very impressed with this edition. Once again Alfred has done a excellent job.

Following the Palmer ideal, Schneider has done extensive research and includes the edits in grey to distinguish from the original Bach. Some of the edits are superfluous - an musician with a half a brain would do them naturally - but overall this edition does a great job of presenting Bach's intent and if nothing else provide a relief from the cluttered mess of a Schirmer edition.

I was thrilled with the quick delivery service of this music book. It was completely sealed in clear plastic and it arrived in perfect condition. Christmas came and my son had received another copy of this book (which was not sealed in plastic and was not going to be easy to return). So we opted for returning it to this Amazon.com seller instead. I contacted the seller promptly and was encouraged to return the item, no questions asked. I am proud to say I am in the process of receiving my refund from Amazon.com and shall reorder another piano book from this seller. They are really eager to please and understanding of "duplicate" gifts.

Finding piano music books/sheets get challenging at times. We tried a couple of nearby music stores and couldn't find this book. For other items, especially electronics, I always go to amazon.com first. I'm glad amazon.com came to the "rescue" also when it comes to this book.
