Only the French can take tea to an exaulted level. Revel in the details about the various types of teas, procedures on serving and the wildly delicious recipes.

The physical book in and of itself is elegant and well laid out. The writing is concise and full of little tea tidbits.

If you enjoy tea and want to add something refined and noble to your tea time.. this book is for you.

They bring this book to your table in Paris, so you can pretend to be doing something while you secretly gaze at all the chic French tea drinkers..
Loaded with all kinds of esoteric of tea for the afficianado and the devotee.
And at last available for us in English to throw on our tea table and impress the heck out of our guests.
Actually a superb book.

the pages where it shows tea plantations in Japan and in Vietnam, and in Indonesia... Well, I know someone who used to work for a tea plantation and production right here where I am, right here in West Java Indonesia. He said that tea where we are growing right here are not well developed even if this whole country consisting of thousands of islands and hundreds of millions of people drink tea for granted, and the book implies just as this person who once worked with tea industry and left due to no attraction within the business he said, not a bit of glamour... I suppose we all need a bit of pride in whatever we do right?
And so, I was glad to have the book (which is kind of sophisticated or quite glamorously put together), and give it as a birthday present for my sister, well, since both of us love tea so much and take pride in having tea times and some sort of high tea moments from time to time...
Thank you,
Novi

I bought this offer with certainty that it was a French tea I'm used to consume, because the title does not specify that it is a book, just says French tea and the name of the house that produces it. I'm disappointed.
