1) not very stable. you need to watch how you hang coats on this thing. If you hang two coats on the same side it's very likely to fall. This could be prevented if they made the base heavier.
2) the bottom is very easy to break. I've accidentally pressed a little bit on this thing, while assembling and got a crack in the bottom part of the stick.
- Look for something more stable & durable.
I noticed one reviewer said the legs kept falling of off hers, but mine came with a small round piece that screwed into the bottom to secure the legs. No need for carpenter's glue, but if that fairly small piece got lost somewhere, you would have trouble. The footprint is kinda big at the bottom, however, w/ only three legs, it can be squeezed up against other furniture where a four-legged model couldn't (lots of space between legs). Highly recommend.
EDIT: The day I got home after writing this review this coat rack broke. I'm not kidding. There seems to be some flaw with the bottom row of hooks. Two of them have broken off completely. The inside where the screw is threaded was completely worn off. Perhaps super glue would get it to hold back in place, but I havent tried as the I now hang my coats on the top hooks to cover up the missing bottom pegs.
If you have kids (or a husband) you need something more sturdy, mine lost a leg with in the first week.

This was exactly what I had been looking for. Easy to assemble and looks very nice. I wanted this to use at my front door foyer to hang coats and it worked out perfectly. Read morePublished 6 days ago by Brandy
OK for the price paid but don't expect a high quality piece which will be envied by guests. The paint on this stand comes off easily, even before you hang your first coat. Read morePublished 7 days ago by Rohu
The legs are extremely fragile. I eventually modified it with a mesh trashcan to add an umbrella holder, which I attached makeshift metal legs to. Read morePublished 10 days ago by Travis Apostoles

All the arms one by one broke off, not meant for heavy coats or heavy use. Maybe for 2 people it would last.Published 17 days ago by SANDI VEGA
