good book
bar-giora has done a great job introducing the topic. he deals with the mathematics concisely and covers a great deal of material. many useful programs are also included that can be used in the designs. this book is definitely worthed its price.

A difficult subject
The author does an excellent job of presenting the references and presenting a logical format for the DDS material. The subject tends to be difficult so that without the proper background a complete understanding to the point of implementation of a project would be extremely difficult.

This book has a lot of real world examples, but they are all from pre 1999, so they are mostly out of date. The references to academic work is extensive. This is a good introduction, but you will have a lot more reading beyond this book to come up to date on the subject.

The title is very misleading. Less than one-third of the book is devoted to DDS. Certainly he complicates the presentation of DDS and provides no practical examples of design. The author can improve the material where the book can be of use.

Base practica para ingenieros en Comunicaciones. I really liked the book, the CD is worth the money! . A good reference and tool for synthesizer designs.
