5.0 out of 5 stars Thanks Kinky Sweet
As the last reviewer this is the first Frequent Flyer purchase I've made and I made it just out of pure curiosity. 5.0 out of 5 stars Thanks Kinky Sweet, November 10, 2005

As the last reviewer this is the first Frequent Flyer purchase I've made and I made it just out of pure curiosity. After listening to this non-stop for a week I have the entire Series in my cart for purchase. I can only sing praises for both discs. It was just what I needed. I was becoming increasingly frustrated b/c the quality of hip-hop has gone down since 1999 and all of the progressive house, trance, etc. that I gravitated towards just has seemed flat the last two years. But this is everything I was searching for: Deep, funky, spicey, smooth house music that forces you to move your head & shoulders to the beat. It is a very solid mixture of various styles of house that are blended perfectly together. Highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars an excellent addition to any social situation, July 3, 2006
This review is from: Frequent Flyer: Mile High Club (Dig) (Audio CD)
i absolutely adore this purchase. it is very solid with a steady, heavy groove laden beat. the only beef that i have with this set is it has a very strong "love boat" esque quitar and synth that reocurres throughout. also the most standout song 'sabrosura' disk#2-sg#4 has an incredible hook, guitar layering but it has a girl saying the wd 'sabrosura' in the most anoying way throughout. that is pretty much how the whole cd goes with me most of it is great with just a hint of "i wish that wasn't there"

overall i would buy this cd over and over again because the good definately outweighs the bad and if you like "latin house"(heavy grooves with a hint of cheeze) then this is a MUST have but for any deep house head this is a good solid buy that you will not begrudge.

I am absolutely blown away by the ecclectic, yet flowing mix this album has to offer. 'Mile High' fully explores Latin and Afro house themes, seemlessly blending them with jazz and funk at all the right moments.

Having heard many different house music collections (Afterdark, Bargrooves, Habitat, Lazy Dog, Om, etc.), I think this is BY FAR one of the greatest albums I've listened to, hands-down.

Pulsing beats, energetic percussion, colorful instrumentals, and soulful vocals. It's truly a work of audio-art, which is something to be said of a compilation. If you love jazz house, Latin house, deep, or funky house - definitely give this album a shot. You won't be disappointed!

5.0 out of 5 stars Kudos to Frequent Flyer !!!, September 16, 2005
This review is from: Frequent Flyer: Mile High Club (Dig) (Audio CD)
This is the first FrequentFlyer CD i've every had and i'm not disappointed at all, i always listen to this CD since the day i got it, it makes my heart pump and move to the Brazilian/Latin/Arfican house beats. My fave one is Afrocatalans (Hardsoul Emocion Tropical Treatment) by Danny Marquez, i recommend you guys to get a copy if u wanna chase the pulsating beats of Brazilian, Latin & Arican house music,
U won't regret this CD at all!!! Kudos to FF!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Cool musci from heaven, October 14, 2007
This review is from: Frequent Flyer: Mile High Club (Dig) (Audio CD)
Very cool music. Probably frequent flyer collection will take over Bargrooves. This CD is a MUST have for deep house fans. Rythms mixes Brazilian music are just perfect to enjoy in a lounge, home or travelling to Asia or South America. Very cool!
