One thing I like about Simontacchi's book is that in addition to adiscussion of Chitosan, she includes a discussion of carnitine as an additional fat metabolizer. According to the directions on the Chitosan bottle...I take two to four capsules about one half an hour before meals. I'm feeling skinnier and am finally receiving comments from friends about whether I have lost weight or not. Yippee. I haven't felt any side effects from the Chitosan and am also taking the carnitine and Co-Q10 for a healthy heart....

My purchase of Simontacchi's book came at a good time for me. I havebeen on the chubby side for most of my life and I was tired of it. I had heard too much negative about the fen/phen drugs but wanted something that would curb my appetite before I sat down to the table. I noticed that Chitosan was being sold at the site where I buy other supplements,..., so I [bought] a bottle. Like the person before, I have lost weight because I don't go back for seconds and I'm not hungry for dessert....
