It amazes me how the simple process of electrolysis of water (running an electric current through water) to change its pH can be marketed into devices costing thousands of dollars. With a little basic understanding of the process of electrolysis of water, the concept of electrolytes in solution in water (salt or trace minerals), you can technically make your own device with by picking up a plug-in power adapter, some metal wire, some clips, a couple plastic jugs, a section of plastic plumbing pipe, and a sack membrane.
Even $198 is way overpriced for this simple contraption. With a combination of my laziness and the neat and tidy job these guys did in making this contraption, it is still $198 well spent, especially if you really look hard at those other models costing thousands and dissect them. Sure they look more technologically advanced, but they produce the same result in the end. Sure they have a water filter built in, but I have a perfectly functional Brita water filter that I've been using, and I just use that before I dump the filtered water into my $198 water ionizer and add a pinch of trace minerals. This budget ionizer does the job as promised, is simple, foolproof, and brings results. The picture you see in the product page is exactly what you get. With such simple technology, fewer things go wrong, and you have complete control over the amount of trace minerals you throw in, the pH (by varying the time you electrolize the water), and you can feel good about how you only spend $198 while other victims of mass marketing and network marketing get scammed out of their hard-earned greenbacks. Please do yourself a favor and don't get scammed into parting with thousands of dollars. Educate yourself with some basic knowledge and have some common sense.

Great Ionizer & Alkalizer,

This is a very simple and straightforward piece of equipment if you are interested in getting your body into a more alkaline environment. I have had this device for well over a year and it has always performed with zero problems. When I bought it, I had a very large stone in a salivary gland. Within just 2-3 days, the stone moved and was expelled. It's so easy to use I would recommend it to anyone. And the Fresh and Alive people couldn't be easier to work with.

It works, but...,

I have to agree with a previous reviewer - This unit works, but is it worth $200+? Absolutely not. This product was probably produced for less than $20 in parts, and to charge over $200 for the finished product is a rip-off.
But, in all fairness, the product does work. So if you don't mind spending the money, or don't have the skills/knowledge to make this type of unit yourself, then this is a good starter unit. One problem you should know about is their filter barrier piece. The two jugs are unnecessarily connected together by a piece of PVC pipe, creating a hole between both jugs. You keep the water separated by placing this little ball of fabric in the hole. In the unit I have, the barrier leaks. I could return it for a new one, but what's the point? I'm not overly impressed with the design of this unit, and can (and will) build my own unit cheaper, and more efficiently. But again, it works - Does what is says it does, so from a functional standpoint, can't say it doesn't work or that it is inefficient in doing what it claims. I do feel ripped off, though. Three stars because it works, but no more because it's cheaply made with a ridiculously high mark-up.

Just the facts maam....,
This review is from: Fresh And Alive! 2G Budget Water Ionizer (Batch)
At first I was concerned with the cost of this unit. It looked like a mear $20 in parts, which some of it is. However I guess the platinum titanium metals they use are really good.
I decided to go with this one because it is a cheap alternative to the flow through ionizers that are mega bucks. If you are not drinking ionized water your ridiculous. I love this water ionizer but it should be priced at $139.00 MAX -Family Kuppa

I somewhat agree with the December 30, 2010 review: it hurt a bit initially to part with over two-hundred dollars for what feels like a lot less than $200 worth of retail merchandise. On the other hand, this thing works, and it works well. Even with just a cursory reading of the instructions (it comes with excellent instructions as well) I was able to produce my first batch of alkaline water overnight. All in all, I am happy with this purchase--especially since the next-cheapest device I could find was almost $1,000.

The Ionizer is simply made very low budget, BUT it get's the job done. It only seems to get to a PH of 11 which is alkaline enough for me. I am doing a 30 day water fast so I am GRATEFUL to have an IONIZER that WORKS at such a LOW COST, REGARDLESS of the fact that it's not super fancy. Why pay thousands for an Ionizer that does the same thing?!?! Be prepared with a ceramic water dispenser to store your water. Glass is ok, but sunlight de-ionizes the water. This product gets five stars!! :-)

Havnt even bought it and would not reccomend it!,
This review is from: Fresh And Alive! 2G Budget Water Ionizer (Batch)
This Ionizer setup is not worth the 200 dollars they are asking for. First the description mentions medical grade metal... come on, there isnt medical grade metal they just want your money, and to offer two plastic jugs (PLASTIC) for way too much cash. Please do not buy this product if you are thinking about your health, spend the higher amount of money on something that will really bring health to your body, not this scam where the only component I see any cash invested in in the SMALL platinum coated titanium which would work better if the surface area was bigger. Please do your own personal research before falling for scams like this.
p.s. if your going to these lengths for health reasons why would you still be drinking out of plastic containers that are contaminating your water!

WELL pleased with the product. It actually cleans out the toxins and experienced weight loss more than drinking ordinary bottled or tap water.

Miraculous,
This review is from: Fresh And Alive! 2G Budget Water Ionizer (Batch)
I was very skeptical about this product, but made the plunge anyway. Because I was nervous about consuming ionized water, I first gave it to the dogs (a sheltie and a miniature schnauzer) for a week. Surprisingly, the schnauzer (who we had castrated as a young puppy) grew his testicles back. I wasn't able to check Lucy, who was spayed when we got her, but I am hopeful that we will have a litter of pups this spring.
