This is a very lemony smell, and the sugar takes away the sour 'edge' of the lemon. It is simply only that-lemon and sugar, then it gets warmer and airy throughout the day.If you want to just try it, get a sample size one from ebay, or a mini perfumes website.If your considering the more expensive Clean fragrance but aren't sure about the price, Fresh Lemon Sugar is similar in scent, the only thing being left out is the laundry, 'air' fragrance.

I could never expect to like a lemon scented perfume,but this one is definately different.

When i first smelt it in the bottle i thought:"Oh,no!Dish soap!",but when i put it on i immediately loved it.

On me it smells like lemon scented candy.It's so fresh and clean!I couldn't stop smelling my wrist!And everytime i smelt it i felt as if i were in a wet garden and lemon blossoms were falling on my skin!

It was a nice alternative to all my candy scented perfumes.
It lasts a long time too and it's affordable,plus it smells like spring!

The best choise to welcome the hot days of the summer,since it will keep you fresh and cool.

A must buy!

I got this as a sample from Sephora, and it didn't say "homme" on it, so I just assumed it was for me! I was wrong, it's for men! But I've been wearing it anyway, and it smells great. At first it has an undertone of "pine car air freshner," but that note goes away quickly and a clean, fresh, sort of musky but not cloying smell remains. It's an odd scent, but really nice. My husband likes it too. I guess I should tell him he can wear it, since it is for guys, it appears. Bummer.

Edited to say: I stand corrected, in that when I first tried this it was marketed to men, but now has been changed to a unisex scent. I wasn't so weird for wearing it!

A co-worker of mine was all of a sudden, smelling so fabulous one day and I just had to ask her what perfume she had on, and she told me "Lemon Sugar by Fresh," this is now my new craze. I haven't gotten a bottle for myself yet, because I have tons of perfume already.. from Burberry Brit to Gap Dream to Juice by Ocean Pacific, to Body by Victoria, to B-United by Benneton and just recently, a French made perfume whose name I cannot remember, etc.. but as soon as these run out, I am going to get Lemon Sugar because I absolutely cannot resist the wonderful smell of this perfume.. it's light and airy, crisp and effervescent, and simply lovely. Actually, this smells very similar to the CLEAN brand.. and it does not smell like dishsoap or detergent as someone claimed in a previous review, if anything Clean smells more like those than Fresh's Lemon Sugar.

I say if you are curious enough to even be reading these reviews on this product, you should definitely buy it. Don't hesitate because of some of the not-so-flattering reviews, I think you will love this. This smell brings a smile to my face and I believe it will do the same for you.

If your into light smells, this one is for you. After becoming pregnant I realized I could not wear most of my perfumes, but I still wanted to wear some sort of fragrance. This one is perfect because it is very light, and smells just like a lemon with a bit of sweetness!

I went to the mall today and smelled 4 different Fresh fragerances; Sake, Sugar, Sugar Blossom and Lemon Sugar. The Sake was very nice and I may get it in the future but Sugar was my favorite. It's the scent of lemon custard. At first it's a tart smell, then to evolves into a softer, sweeter scent, like sugar, light vanilla and citrus. It's a little strong but lightens up and lasts the whole day. It smells alot like Philosophy's handmade hand cream. I really like the perfume Clean but Fresh's Sugar is much sweeter, I like it more. Don't worry, you aren't going to smell a teenager wearing strong, candy scented perfume. Sugar definitly has some floral qualties to it. Not at all overpowering. You could even use this perfume to sweeten and lighten up perfume you already have. Fresh's Sugar perfume isn't harsh or as tangy as verbena. The sourness of the lemon is gone completely after a minute of spraying it on. Actually, I'm going to finnish writing this right now so I can put some more Fresh Sugar on. It's Addictive!

I could never get through my life without having this as a part of my perfume repetoire. It's a great fresh sweet lemony scent that Fresh has nailed. I use it all summer for sure and never get tired of it. The price is right for a gift or just for yourself. I pair it with the body wash and lotion and the scent sticks around a bit longer. If you like citrus you'll like this.

Oh, I wish I could describe this scent and do it justice! First of all, I love citrus scents and secondly, who doesn't love a smell of a fresh sugar cookie? This is a light, breezy smell that is just stong enough without overpowering. I'm someone that gets bothered by strong perfumes and this is just perfect. Light, airy and yummy. Great for teens and tweens as well. It also comes in a small spray bottle (not offered here) that is an even better bargain.

I tried the lemon sugar perfume and I am absolutly in love with it. It is like no other perfume I have ever smelled before. I will probably be using it the rest of my life, I hope they never stop making it. I think everyone should try it. The scent is lemony and sugar just like it says. It is light and last a very long time. I am already going to order a bigger bottle tomorrow. Do not just take my world for it, order it today and experience something great and new!

This is my favorite scent. I got a sample at the Fresh store and kept going back for more. A friend finally bought it for me because she said I just had to have it. It's the perfect mixture of sweet and sexy. It's light enough that I wear it everyday but it's not cloyingly sweet. It's got an undercurrent of spicy and dark. I don't quite feel like myself unless I'm wearing it.
